Marco is a football coach. He works at a sports academy in Madrid. He gets up at 6:00 every morning. He drinks a glass of water and eats a banana for breakfast. He doesn’t drink coffee because he doesn’t like it.

Marco goes to the academy at 7:30. His first training session starts at 8:00. The players run for 20 minutes and then they practice passing. Marco watches them carefully. He gives them advice after each exercise.

Marco eats lunch at the academy canteen. He usually has fish, rice, and salad. He doesn’t eat meat because he is vegetarian. In the afternoon, he plans the next day’s training session. He writes exercises in his notebook.

The second training session begins at 4:00. The players play a small match. Marco doesn’t play with them because he is the coach. He observes and takes notes. The session finishes at 6:00.

Marco goes home at 6:30. He prepares dinner with his wife. They eat together and talk about their day. Marco doesn’t watch TV in the evening. He reads sports magazines or studies tactics. He goes to bed at 10:30.

Marco loves his job. He says, “Football is my life!”
