Now look at the pictures. Describe what you see in each one. Then try to imagine what’s going on with the characters.

Use the following words: to spot, to hide, leaves, twigs, bushes, to cover, invisible, dressed as a magician, to try something on somebody, shy, to mess about. Put the verbs in the present simple or present continuous.

The following questions will help you with the ideas:

• What/Who do you see in the picture?
• What are they doing? Why?
• What are they thinking about? What do they want?
• How do they feel? Why do you think so?
• Are they good or bad? Funny or serious? Sad or happy?
• What is the end of your story?
